A couple of photos of our Efteling visit back in April. This time mainly shooting in portrait mode. Just for a change and to have a perspective on the world. 🙂 Something many mobile phone users do anyway. But it’s good to variate and see what would work best for a picture.

Portsmouth, UK
During our last trip to the UK, we also had a quick visit to Portsmouth. A fourthy five minutes drive from Godalming where we staying. February meant it was still calm. Not everyone was on board immediately with the idea of having a walk. But that all changed after having a scavenger hunt at the Porthsmouth Cathedral. What a lovely afternoon it was!

We were lucky enough to spend some time with friends in the UK again. Just like last time we took the Eurotunnel to cross the channel. It was quite a short trip actually. About 5 and half hours, door to door. During our stay we planned a day to do some sightseeing in London. Blue skies and red busses everywhere. A perfect day to be a tourist.

We didn’t find any trace of Hugo but we did have a wonderful afternoon exploring the abbey and its surroundings.

November last year. Some grey skies and low temperatures. But nevertheless a nice day to go out and spend time with some of our friends. We decided to go for a walk on the beach and have a look at some windmills after. Of course, taking pictures while doing so. 🙂

Giethoorn had always been on our list of places to visit. Famous for its canals and waterways. It’s a popular destination for tourists visiting The Netherlands. In the summertime it can get really busy and you’ll find many boats on the water. However when we visited the village in October you could see the high season was over. The place was pretty calm and there were no queues for renting a boat. It was a perfect sunny October day to be out on the water. Bringing out the pirate in all of us. 🙂
