The last weeks have been exciting! It’s been three weeks already since Simon was born. He kept us waiting a little longer before finally deciding to show up, but it was well worth the wait! 🙂 We’re really happy that we can finally hold him in our arms and that he is part of our family now.
Iván has been an amazing brother so far and we’re really proud of him how he’s taking care of Simon already.
The Month Of February in 15 Photos
February has almost come to an end and quite a lot has happened again. We celebrated Iván’s 3rd birthday. We had Katja and Maya from Germany visiting us for a couple of days. We had another trip to the Efteling finally. The weather brought us snow but also sunshine. And we even managed to squeeze in a little bit of carnaval festivities.
Nine Family Moments
Weekend at Texel
Texel is the largest and most populated of the ‘Waddeneilanden’ (Frisian islands). I always wanted to visit at least one of the islands but somehow never got to it. And Adri already mentioned a couple of times as well that we should visit Texel. So when looking around for places to go for our short baby moon we pretty quickly decided that Texel would be a good option. We booked the hotel and the ferry and before we knew it we set foot on the island last week. It was pretty cold and off season which meant it was pretty calm on the island.
Fresh Air!
Starting of the new year with some photos of last year! On Boxing day we all decided to go out and get some fresh air. A nice walk along the beach while taking some photos and trying to survive that ice cold wind!
Three Days in Prague, Day 2
Our second day in Prague. And basically the last day. The third day was more about getting to the airport and flying back home again. But with another full day ahead of us there was still enough time to see some more of the city. The plan was to explore the Castle district. Which can easily fill up half a day. And then there were two more things on my list that I wanted to photograph as well. The dancing house (seen above) and the lightbulb staircase.

Three Days in Prague, Day 1
A long ‘weekend’ in Prague. This had been on our list for quite a while and finally we managed to get there. We left Sunday morning (2 October) and came back home Tuesday afternoon. Making it more like a two day trip in reality. It’s only a short flight from Eindhoven Airport to Prague Airport. Making it a perfect destination for a short city trip. We flew early in the morning (getting up at 4) and arrived around 8:30 at Prague Airport. Still a full day left to enjoy the city!
