Open Campus Day

On May 19th there was an Open Campus Day at PVH. PVH owns brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. It’s also the place where Adri works. So it was a nice opportunity to see a little bit more of the company itself and the things they do. Truly a well organised day for young and old. With a Ferris wheel, face paint and lots of food and drinks. A live band playing and a visit to the top with a view over Amsterdam. I can see why Adri loves working there. 🙂

Keukenhof

Keukenhof is one of the largest flower gardens in the world. Approximately 7 million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park. Visiting the park was something Sanyika and Andi wanted to do while being in Holland. Photographing flowers isn’t something I normally do a lot. But it was quite a fun challenge to do. And pretty Dutch too.

Superman at the Beach!

It was the last weekend of March and the weather started to look like spring. Which was perfect because we had some visitors from Hungary. We were really happy to welcome Sanyika and Andi at our place and show them a little bit of Holland. And it wasn’t just the two of them. Turned out that Superman also felt like he needed a little holiday and decided to come along. We thought the beach would be a good place to start. So off we went to Scheveningen!

Pizza and Cake!

Time flies! Iván turning 5 already is just another example of exactly that! Another birthday. Another round of celebrations. At home and at school. A birthday hat for the birthday boy and birthday songs all day long (and the weekend before). He brought some small presents to school for his classmates and teachers. Received a lot of presents during the week. And got pizza and cake as a birthday dinner. Here’s to our 5 year old!
