4 days of Jazz throughout the City. A yearly festival that we always like to visit whenever we have the chance. This year the weather was extremely nice and many people had a day off. The first day of the Breda Jazz Festival (5th of May) was also Ascension Day and Liberation Day.

Rotterdam!
The first of May! A bright and sunny day when we decided to visit Rotterdam. Honestly Rotterdam has never been one of my favorite cities but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth a visit every now and then. With it’s modern architecture, port and city life there is enough to shoot. Rotterdam is the 2nd largest city of the Netherlands and has one of the biggest ports in the world (biggest of Europe). We only covered a small part that day, so we’ll be back for another round one of these days.
King’s Day In Breda
A cold and rainy day. Not the best time to go out and celebrate King’s Day. But we gave it a shot anyway. Normally people dress up in orange and go crazy on the 27th of April. But due to the bad weather it took a while before the orange madness started (pretty much until we were leaving actually).
The Hague
The Hague is the third largest city of The Netherlands. It has a lot of architectural styles and obviously a lot of people to photograph. I’ve been living in this city for over 10 years now but never really set out to capture the city.
The ‘Hoftoren’ (on the photo above), nicknamed the fountain pen, is the third tallest building of the city (142 meter) and one of the landmarks of the city’s skyline.
Naturalis Biodiversity Center
Naturalis Biodiversity Center is a national museum of natural history and a research center on biodiversity in Leiden.
There’s enough to discover. Besides the usual exhibitions the museum also has a lot of interactive elements to keep everyone busy and interested. 🙂

An Ordinary Day At Home
Our little boy is growing up fast! It might sound like a cliche, because it is. 🙂
